There was a time when I couldn’t get off Tumblr.
Now, because of the fandom I was once so proud to be a part of, I can’t really find the enthusiam to get on Tumblr.
Even they can no longer hide from the ‘your private shit is our business now, lemme have it so I can share it with people you didn’t want to share it with yourself’ crowd.
JUST BECAUSE A PICTURE CAN BE ACCESSED BY THE PUBLIC, DOESN’T MEAN IT SHOULD BE.
If you even care a TINY BIT about the band members/celebrities you like, you’ll back the fuck off their personal shit, unless they post it for you, themselves!
This is part of the reason I’m so embarrassed to be an Avenged Sevenfold fan…
Unfortunately, someone from Tumblr managed to hack into the email account that was set up for this project.
They thought it would be ‘funny’ to delete all messages sent to that account, meaning all ‘Letters to Jimmy’ submissions have been lost.
I’m so sorry about this, but I have tried every form of ‘recovery’ I know to try and get the submissions back, but to no avail. This means everyone will need to resubmit their letter.
